Chairperson Mitsuru Uesaka attended the 69th IAEA General Conference held at the IAEA Headquarters in Vienna, Austria, from September 15 to 17, 2025. With Mr. Minoru Kiuchi, Minister of State for Science and Technology Policy, representing the Government of Japan, he held bilateral meetings with IAEA Director General Grossi and other dignitaries from various countries. He also held bilateral meetings with senior officials from the IAEA, Canada, the EU, and others on a country-by-country basis. He also hosted the side event “Current Status of Clinical Research on Nuclear Medicine Therapy Using Ac-225 and the Supply Chain for Ra-226, the Raw Material.”
